Community Day School

Dear Paramount Unified School District Families and Friends,
As our Paramount High School graduating seniors walked across the stage to receive their diplomas last month they carried with them the promise of the future. All of the love and hard work our community has invested in our children has enabled them to take the next step to successful lives.
I am thankful to the Paramount community for its support of our students, from active parents to the partners of our District. Thirty-two of our graduating seniors recently received Paramount Education Partnership (PEP) scholarship awards totaling $120,000 from the City of Paramount. PEP works to make higher education accessible for all Paramount students and our children continue to reap the benefits of its work.
We have so many inspiring students on their way to successful colleges and careers. Senior Desiree Renteria is one of them, and last month she was celebrated as the first Paramount High student to earn a Division I softball scholarship as she signed a letter of intent to play at Howard University.
